About

Ashok is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Tax Planning Strategist. He loves to help many families and many Jain Societies to perform Vidhi-Vidhans and Pooja-Poojans. He comes from a very spiritual family. His grandmother took Sanyam as a Jain Sadhviji; his older brother was a Jain monk; and his mother did 30 continuous Varshi Taps. He wanted to become Jain monk too, but he had many family responsibilities with 8 sisters & 2 brothers. Later, he had his own family to take care of. But he used his spiritual desires to apply sadhu philosophies to everyday life. He learned many rituals by grace and blessings from Acharya Shri Vikram Surshwarji Maharaj Saheb since 1985. His Pooja and Poojans are guided by divine inspiration from Shri Padmavati maa.

His teachings follow Scriptures but are explained in English and Gujarati (or Hindi) so that everyone can understand and follow along. In plain terms, he explains the deeper meaning and essence of Pooja and Poojans; the purpose of what we do; and why do we do it. He practices Nirajara meditation through the “Release Technique,” which guides one to connect to the “True Self” with Swa-Bhav & Swa-Roop. He also teaches Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra

In addition to Poojas, meditations, and yoga, he leads a monthly Bhaktamer Prayers for a group of local Jains.

He performs all of these rituals at NO cost to society or the host family. His payment is the joy and light he brings to families and homes.

Bhoomi Poojan

We get the benefit of sankalpashakti (Energy of resolve) of our Omniscient Sages only if we perform puja vidhi as advised by our scriptures. While performing puja as mentioned in the scriptures, utmost devotion and bhav are equally important. If there is a lack of love and devotion for God while performing puja vidhi, then it does not reach Him; for, God yearns for bhav.
